English Language teachers do not have a place where they can converse with one another about there day. They usually go home and prop there feet up or cook dinner. It may be a good idea for English Language teachers to get together a couple of times a week to talk about there day. One teacher may be having a problem with a student that is not learning at the same level that the other students are. The other teachers may have some tips for the teacher that he or she can apply that can help the student.

English teachers have a hard job, just like Math and Science teachers. They have to make sure that all of there students are at a certain level before they can move on to another grade. They also have to prepare them for standardized tests. If a school does not perform well on the tests, they can be shutdown.

English teachers need to have a place where they can discuss issues that they may be having in their school system. Many of the times, teachers have other concerns, such as getting new textbooks or changing the curriculum. Some places they could meet up at is at each others houses or a restaurant. A good time to meet up is on the weekends since there is no school the next day.

By English teachers having a place to discuss there issues, they do not have to stay after-school to talk. If an issue arises, they can write it down and bring it up at their next meeting. Also, if they want to bring an issue to the school board, they can discuss it between each other before meeting with the school board.

English Language teachers need to have a place because it is good to get things off your mind. Many teachers quit because they did not have anybody to talk to. The school board would not even listen to them. By English teachers coming together, they may be able to voice their concerns at school board meetings. Some parents may even consider listening to them because it will seem as if the teachers care about their child's learning experience.
